Here is some of what your PTO have done!
Hennessey Parent Teacher Organization recently presented a check for $13,257.43 to Supt. Joe McCulley for playground equipment at the Hennessey Elementary School.  What do we do?
Items for the Teacher's lounge are not provided for by the school. PTO is making sure that our teachers have utensils, napkins and plates etc...
- We purchased ball bags for all of the teachers
- We have also provided some of the sweat pants needed for the counselor's office.
- PTO Purchased the paper needed to make posters. Our teachers can make their posters for free!
- When our teachers wanted to eat a thanksgiving dinner together we had 19 volunteers come in to watch the classes for one hour so they could.
- We have helped decorate the front entrance to the school
- PTO does the teacher trees at Christmas time ~ Everyone can come in the front entrance, find their student's teacher's tree and pull an ornament with something the teacher is needing.
- We have FUN!!!!!! we enjoy being together and getting to know each other.
- We periodically bring snacks and food for our teacher's lounge.
We bought new soccer goals and soccer balls
for the playground.
We are working on more playground equipment.
